“Free up RAM on your PC”
Windows has never been particularly at handling memory, and in particular, if you're running the 95 or 98 versions of the OS, your RAM is probably being unneccessarily hogged all the time. RAMBoss is designed to help you take charge of your system memory in order to make your computer run faster.
Although it's user interface is basic to say the least, it provides a very straightforward way of managing your memory. It displays a progress bar showing how much RAM is installed on your machine. Here, you can set the the amount that you want to keep free. Then, simply hit the 'Optimize' button and the program will adjust the system to your new requirements.
If you're fed up with Windows draining your RAM then RAMBoss provides a very simple solution.

From the publisher of RAMBoss
RAMBoss is a small, yet effective utility for freeing up system RAM on Windows 95/98 systems. Also should work on other systems such as Win 2000 or XP, but you'll get most out of it on 95/98.The way that Windows treats memory (at least in 95/98 systems) is not very good, and sooner or later the system will most probably crash. You can use RAMBoss to keep your system up and running for lot's of longer times than without.
